Accreditation
Approval for awarding International Continuing Nursing Education Credits (ICNECs) is currently being sought from the International Council of Nurses. Certificate of participation will be sent to international delegates by email after the conference. For Dutch participants: accreditation will be applied for at Kwaliteitsregister V&VN and Verpleegkundig Specialisten Register.
The total expected number of accreditation points is 23.
Sunday 26 August: 3 points expected
Monday 27 August: 7 points expected
Tuesday 28 August: 7 points expected
Wednesday 29 August: 6 points expected
Students
Students full-time enrolled in a college or university can register as a student for the reduced rate. However, students with a regular income like: part-time students, post-doctoral students, PhD candidates, or Nurse Practitioner-/ Nurse Specialist-trainees are NOT eligible for the discounted student rate, as they do not meet the requirements above. Proof of status from the institute verifying full-time status is required to process your application.
Pre-conference day
The pre-conference day on Sunday 26 August 2018 is only accessible for participants with a passepartout. With the passepartout registration you are welcome at the opening of the conference, all pre-conference activities and the reception hosted by the mayor in the City Hall. There are no day-tickets available for the pre-conference day.
Breaks and lunches included
At the conference days all refreshment breaks and lunches are included.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner on Monday 27 August 2018 can be booked by all participants at an additional charge of € 75,00.
Welcome reception
The welcome reception is free of charge for participants with a passepartout, but registration is required. Please note that there are limited places available. This reception is not accessible for delegates with a day ticket.
Changes in your registration
If you wish to change your registration, please send a detailed email to npapn2018@leidscongresbureau.nl.
If change concerns adjusting the invoice, €50 of administration costs will be charged in addition to the original price as mentioned on the invoice.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your registration, please send an email to the conference secretariat at: npapn2018@leidscongresbureau.nl.
The following will be charged in case of cancellation:
Until 1 May: Bank and credit card charges and € 50 administrative fees
Until 31 July: 50% payable
After 1 August: No refund
If you are unable to attend the conference, you are more than welcome to send a substitute.
In case you are registered for 26-29 August, you can only send one substitute.
Liability
The conference organisation shall not be liable in respect of any non-performance of its obligations by reason of any act of God, civil war or strife, act of foreign enemy, invasion, war, satellite failure, legal enactment, governmental order or regulation, industrial action, trade dispute, lock-out, riot or any other cause beyond their respective control.
